Fall brings cooler weather and beautiful scenery to Southern Oregon making it one of my favorite times of the year for family outings. You’ll find lots of outdoor events and festivals including harvest celebrations and trunk or treat community events. Southern Oregon has several pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and haunted houses to keep you busy all of October. But if you prefer something less crowded, Southern Oregon is a perfect backdrop to outdoor activities like hiking and leaf peeping.
